Venice Sweeps Wellen Park in Dual Meet

Venice High School Swimming delivered an outstanding all-around performance in its September 22 dual meet against Wellen Park High School, earning a decisive 264–66 combined victory. The Indians swept both team competitions, with the girls winning 140–23 and the boys prevailing 124–43.

Venice swimmers combined strong individual performances with impressive depth across the lineup, capturing numerous event wins and relay victories. Highlights included standout swims from Brenna Kagels, Ellie Krause, Caroline Barry, Reagan McPherson, Lance Butler, Chase Caldwell, David Thorne, and Oliver Ozanus, while the team also closed the meet with wins in both the girls’ and boys’ 400-yard freestyle relays.
